So a few weeks ago I was logged in to one of my favourite blogs, teeiswithme.blogspot.com of Miss Thithi Nteta. She has recently completed 'The Repeat Battle', a challenge which she part took in for 30days with a friend where you attempt to get dressed everyday without repeating an item of clothing, accesories or shoes. I was inspired by this and found it quite exciting. I informed Thithi that I would be joining her 'in battle' for a week, as I am a student and do not own the sufficient wardrobe to sustain a 30 day challenge in Winter. Thithi then challenged me to 2 weeks of battle and as I am not one to back down from a challenge, I bravely accepted.
Today is day 4 of the repeat battle and I've been posting pictures on Twitter and BBM. This battle is not as easy as I expected. Shoes are not easy to work with, I am trying my best not to look ridiculous while walking the streets of Braamfontein. I find myself digging into my closet for items which i haven't worn, or even thought of wearing in years! It is however as fun and exciting as I expected. Mixing and matching items till something gives, is a ball.... Day 1 to day 4 below. Don't judge okay.
