Change

So I recently made the decision to change my blog name, and hence broaden the content. 'Mashed Potatoes' is my fashion label, and always will be. I did however feel constricted to blog only about fashion, which is not why I am on this Earth. Growing up has forced me to broaden my mind and become opinionated. I have many more interests than what I did when I started this blog, which was about 4 years ago (WOW!!!)

On that note (being opinionated), 'thick skin' is defined as "the ability to withstand criticism and show no signs of it getting to you". People who are seen as 'thick-skinned' often seem fearless, confident and super-ambitious. I feel that if more of us had 'thick skin', we could get so much more done, career-wise etc.

I aspire to be a woman of such nature. People do however seem to have different perceptions of thick-skinned individuals. They can often be seen as 'pompous', 'ignorant' or even 'bitchy'.

Do you see yourself as 'thick-skinned' or do you find your self being annoyed by such people?

A few images of some women who possess(ed) this nature...
